Emma Josephine is a singer-songwriter whose intimate vocals and acoustic guitar echo generations of storytelling artists. Drawn to the beauty of ordinary moments, her lyrics are shaped by nostalgia, an old soul, and keen observation. Her style blends the lyrical depth of Brandi Carlile, the folk-rooted grace of Emmylou Harris, and the rich storytelling of Nanci Griffith.

She made her festival debut at the 32nd Annual Rock Bend Folk Festival, where her performance was praised as “a major success.” Since 2023, Emma Josephine has performed at RibFest in Mankato, appeared on a singer-songwriter panel at the Minnesota Original Music Festival, and opened for artists including Mary Jane Alm and indie folk band The Cactus Blossoms.
