Ash St. John is a St. Paul–based singer-songwriter, violinist, and looping multi-instrumentalist whose music blends indie folk, pop, country, and hip-hop influences. Classically trained on violin, he brings a unique musical range and thoughtful experimentation to both his songwriting and live performances.

Writing from a place of honesty and Midwest humility, Ash’s songs reflect persistence, seasonal change, and life’s quieter moments. His live sets seamlessly weave layered instrumentals with introspective lyrics, revealing new details with every listen and creating a deeply musical yet accessible experience.
