The Maverick Wine & Wine Madness at Chankaska
KASOTA, MN — (March 1, 2021) — Kasota, MN— In celebration of 100 years of Maverick Men’s Basketball — Chankaska Creek Ranch, Winery & Distillery and the Maverick Men’s Basketball are working together to fundraise for the Men’s Program where $10 of each bottle sold goes to support the program.
With help from Maverick Basketball Coach, Matt Margenthaler, President of Friends of Maverick Basketball, Paul Wilke, and Chankaska Winemaker, John Taylor, all worked together to create this fantastic fundraising wine. The Maverick wine is a red wine similar to a Minnesota Marquette, which is made of Minnesota Grapes, blended with other grape varieties including Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to create a taste that stomps in with Maverick Pride.
Starting March 21st through March 28th Chankaska will be serving the wine by the glass for Chankaska’s Wine Madness. After choosing a winner for Wine Madness Chankaska will be selling The Maverick wine by the bottle and will also be sold at High Spirits Liquor on Stadium Road, and online at Chankaskawines.com starting March 1st.
