RETIRED

2012 Coeur De Colline Port Style Dessert Wine 750ml

Once again it is my ultimate pleasure to present our very popular port-style dessert wine, Coeur de Colline, or Heart of the Hill. This wine is what I call the taste of sugar plums dancing in my head; a delicious and decadent taste of Christmas time in a glass! It is rich and sweet, flavorful and mouth-watering.

The wine smells like chocolate-covered cherries and ripe plums, aromas of sweet milk chocolate come along for the ride with hints of light coffee, brown sugar and whiffs of licorice and wood smoke from aging in Minnesota grown oak barrels.

Wonderful to sip all by itself, and useful for restoring warmth and energy during a long winter’s evening, the wine pairs well with small bits of rich, sweet and creamy delights; chocolate, dried fruits, toasted nuts and mellow aged Stilton blue cheese, sweet breads and biscuits.
