2013 Apple Wine
Obvious notes of fresh apples. Secondary notes of lush warm pears can be found on the entry with a splash of kiwi and tropical fruit notes.
2013 is our inaugural Apple Wine. Made from a blend of Minnesota Apples, the wine celebrates the arrival of fall. The wine was fermented and aged in 94 percent stainless steel tanks with six percent of the wine fermented in barrel for four months to add a warm apple pie note to the wine.
The aromas have obvious notes of fresh apples. As if, you had just bitten into a cool, juicy apple plucked off the tree. Also, lush warm pears can be found on the entry with a splash of kiwi and tropical fruit notes. It has a crisp backbone of acidity but is not overly tart, and a lingering pleasant and complex finish.
A perfect fall match for a pear, blue cheese, arugula, and balsamic salad.
