Equinoce Reserve Brut
Aromas of mandarin oranges, honey and biscuits fill the glass, with secondary notes of peaches and toast. On the palate, there are notes of green apple and a minerality which contributes to a light and clean finish.
This is the premiere release of Equinoce Reserve Brut: a crisp and refreshing sparkling wine made in the traditional method, or méthode champenoise. A blend of Frontenac Gris and Chardonnay, the wine was bottled on a winter’s day in early 2015. The wine fermented in the bottle over the next six to eight weeks, and then allowed to age until November 2016, when it was finished in a Brut, or dry, style.
Pair with baked brie and jam, hard cheeses, and hors d’oeuvres.
