2016 Pinot Noir

The grapes used to make this wine were grown in Sonoma County, California and picked early October just before the onset of fall. Fermentation lasted almost three weeks and after a gentle drain and press, the wine was barreled down and allowed to rest for nearly a year prior to bottling. New French oak barrels were used to heighten the aromatics of this delicate wine.

The 2016 Pinot Noir boasts a fuller body compared to past vintages. On the nose, a classic fruit driven pinot noir with hints of cherries and white truffles. With earthy, woody notes on the palate, along with black tea and graphite this wine finishes with mouth-watering acidity.

This wine would pair well with dried prosciutto or a classic pairing of lamb.
