Q. Do you grow your own grapes?
A. We have 13 acres of Minnesota hardy estate fruit that is grown here on our property. We also have fruit imported from California and Washington State that is brought into our winery and made into wine.
Q. Is there a tasting fee?
A. Yes, there is a $7 tasting fee to experience our wines. Wine can also be purchased by the glass or by the bottle.
Q. Can I get anything for free?
Wine Circle members receive a complimentary glass of wine indicated by a wine glass symbol 🍷 on the menu when they visit the Winery. Go to Wine Circle to learn more about the benefits of becoming a Wine Circle member.
Q. Can I bring a picnic lunch?
A. Unfortunately, No food from outside will be allowed here on the property. We have a wide variety of food options for purchase that have been specifically paired to go with our wines. We provide catering options for events. The wedding cake may be brought in but needs to be approved by our event coordinator.
Q. What kinds of wine do you make?
A. We make traditional grape wine. We have a large variety of wines that are sweet, semi-sweet, off-dry, and dry. Our wines are both red and white varietals. We also make a phenomenal rosé for those of you looking for something a bit in between. Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery has a little bit to offer every palate from the beginner wine drinker to the experienced wine connoisseur.
Q. You have such a beautiful winery and setting, can I have my wedding at your facility?
A. Absolutely! Weddings are one of the most popular events here at Chankaska Creek Ranch & Winery. We have over seven different indoor and outdoor event spaces for private event rental. Q. Can we come out and have pictures taken on the property?
Only our wedding clients are allowed to have photography sessions on the property.
