Flavors and aromas of watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, orange and marschino cherry predominate, while suggestions of other fruits work along the edges. As the wine opens in the glass, there are notes of marshmallow, cotton candy, vanilla and licorice.
The 2015 Marquette Rosé has a beautiful aroma of freshly pressed cranberry and pomegranate juice. The nose expresses the essence of red fruit that reminds me of the homemade cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving.
